Fashion for Fall
It’s that time of the year again. You come back from the South of France, all tanned and with sand in your clogs and your Missoni bikini, but in fact all you are dreaming of is… camel coats, leather skirts, suede gloves, sheepskin jackets, grey cashmere sweaters and thigh-high furred boots on stilettos.
That and Ladurée macarons with hot chocolate, snuggling up with a good film and good company and chocolate nail polishes of course. In a word: Autumn. Yes autumn is almost here and in no time we will enjoy Selfridges Christmas decorations and fight over the last suede ankle boots and shearling jackets. I just received the OCTOBER issues of my glossies and my mailbox is getting full of Fashion Weeks emails. How exciting! Finally, no more excuses, and just like this model is looking at you right in the eyes, with a look as magnetic as her sweater is sequined… fashion is back!
I know, Capri was über-glam and we spent lovely evenings drinking rosé in St-Tropez sparkling in our minidresses, but who isn’t looking forward to Céline’s minimalist navy blue jackets, Chloé’s camel capes, Louis Vuitton’s croc Speedys and leather gloves or Chanel’s fake fur, fur, fur? I certainly am!
