Lace
What will you pair with your bold shoulders jackets and dotted tights this season? Lace tops! Well you could actually have lace tights, lace dresses, lace underwear, lace gloves, lace everywhere if you prefer, for this is undeniably one of the strongest trends this season.
As NYFW has just started, I feel like it is still too early for next summer – it is incredibly sunny in London, and I would like to immerse myself more into the upcoming trends for this autumn. However, fear not, I will cover SS10 as usual too, after a short run of this season’s trends.
Givenchy‘s white lace dresses, and Louis Vuitton‘s black lace dresses are by far the most covetable pieces of the season, along with the Ellery top shown above. Romantic, femme fatale and sexy coquette are the spirits embodied by this lace trend seen on the runway. This season will be see-through or will not be.
